Short:
Lots of rotation observed, missed a couple tornado warned cells by Redwood Falls. We got up to Marshall but it was really almost too late to catch anything else so we headed back. Intense moment at Tyler, MN as we observed lots of CG and strong updraft/downdrafts coupled with rotation.
Long:
Not too much different from the short, we headed east to Minnesota after I saw towers shooting up to the east. We raced through Tyler, MN to get ahead of the storm that produced the title shot. This was a good setup, we had excellent filming location and got some video which I will try to get up eventually. There was a lot of CG to our north and northeast. Sadly a cell popped up to the south of the rotation and put a damper on any further development of this storm.
We then headed toward Yellow Medicine county as there were some tornado warned cells up there but they were dying by the time we reached Marshall. So we elected to head home from there. We still encountered some nice storms on the way back.
