Seize the storm

Another bust chase, but shear was definitely there to help produce.  This was going north on I-29 near White, I think.  Amy actually grabbed this shot as it would have been a hard shot for me to take while driving.

Not too much observed, saw towers going up to my east and hauled butt to catch up with them.  Came back to SD later and caught a tornado producing storm near Clear Lake, SD (title shot).  I did not see the tornado though because I was on the north side of this storm and because it was getting late at night, I couldn’t see it.  There was also a lot of precipitation so that also got in the way.  Lots of rain associated with this event.  There were many warnings in the area about flooded out roads.
